Oakton WD-35434-02 CD 650 PCD 650 pH/Conductivity/Dissolved Oxygen Meter Overviews Product
The Oakton WD-35434-02 waterproof PCD 650 meter is a multi-parameter, handheld, and dustproof meter. It measures pH, mV, ISE, conductivity, dissolved oxygen (DO), resistivity, salinity, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), barometric pressure and temperature within a substance, and is commonly used for water and salt water testing.
This meter features automatic temperature compensation (ATC), with push-button calibration up to six points each for pH and conductivity, and three points for DO. It has auto-buffer options and recognition of USA, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) and PWB standards, for ease of use. It has a large, backlit, graphic display to provide ease of viewing, and to display indicators. The meter has an adjustable alarm to remind you when calibration is due. It stores up to 500 data sets, and has Infrared Direct Access (IrDA) wireless technology for transferring and printing data, using the companion software application CyberComm 600 Data Acquisition Software (DAS). The meter has a built-in, real time clock with time and date stamping, and set-point alarms. It comes with an electrode status indicator and password protection.
This PCD 650 meter determines oxygen saturation up to 600%, and concentration up to 90 mg/L. The meter has a conductivity range of 0 to 500.00 mS, resolution + or - 0.05 % full-scale, and accuracy + or - 1.0 % full-scale. Temperature range -10.0 to 110.0 degrees C (14.0 to 230.0 degrees F), selectable from 0 to 100 degrees C, resolution of 0.1 degree C (0.1 degree F), accuracy of + or - 0.5 degrees C (+ or - 0.9 degrees F). DO range 0.00 to 20.00 mg/L (ppm), 0.0 to 200.0%, resolution 0.01 mg/L (ppm), 0.1%, accuracy + or -0.2 mg/L; + or - 2%. pH range -2.000 to 20.00 pH, resolution 0.1/0.01/0.001 pH, accuracy + or - 0.002 pH. mV range is + or - 2000, resolution 0.1, accuracy + or - 0.2. Barometric pressure is 450 to 825 mm Hg, resolution 1 mm Hg, accuracy + or - 1%. Salinity range is 80.00 ppt, resolution is 0.05% full-scale, accuracy + or - 1% full-scale. TDS range is 0 to 500 ppt (TDS factor dependent), resolution 0.05% full-scale, + or - 1% full-scale. Its dimensions are 7.25(l) x 3.25(w) x 2.25(h) inches, and it weighs 1.0 lb (0.45 kg). The meter has the ability to store up to 500 data sets in memory, until information can be printed and downloaded. Time and date stamping meets Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards, and the meter is Ingress Protection (IP) 67-rated, for protection against solid objects or liquids. The meter works with four 1.5V AA batteries (included) or optional AC adapter (sold separately).
pH meters measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance, and are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in aquaculture, agricultural, wine-making, and water-testing and for scientific applications. Dissolved oxygen measurement indicates the amount of oxygen in a liquid. Applications include sewage and water treatment plants, pollution control, fish farms, and various types of manufacturing. Conductivity testers are used for measuring the electro-conductivity of a solution. They are used in hydroponics, aquaculture, and research to measure the amount of salts or other compounds present in water.
